Southern Cedar Farm is a family operation and a mother daughter dream in the making. We bought our first horse thirteen years ago together and the rest is history. The magical bond between a horse and human is something that cannot be described accurately with words. It is a deep and powerful bond full of trust and love.

Originally from South Florida, Monique found a local barn and signed her then seven year old daughter Sierra up for riding lessons. “I was looking for an outdoor activity that would allow Sierra to decompress after school and on the weekends. What I observed was that the barn created a place where the stress of the world would melt away and life made sense. It was so obvious that this was exactly what we needed.”
